Arrived in Denver at 4:30, via Chicago, after two very good flights. It is 73 degrees and the sky is on fire with pinks, turquoises, beiges, golds - breathtaking with the Rockies as a backdrop. We drove off into the sunset as the skies turned to silver. Magical. LaReese's new home is stunning - a gentle, warm cradle rich in earth-tones. Perfect for her new life. The furniture and walls are covered with her artifacts from her 25 years of world travels. Vic-ers, the horns are duly displayed on the walls, framing the dining room, with prayer wheels in between; and the flutes are on a nearby table, flanking a Buddha. Photos herewith. We dined in a lovely local cafe, the Huckleberry Inn, - Rocky Mountain trout of course. Louisville (pronounce the "s") is a delightful little town, 7 miles east of Boulder. We spent hours chatting and on our computers, sitting at the counter, side by side.

Dearest Elaine, Sounds like your great adventure is off to a great start. You left town just as our weather turned quite cool...Brrrr. The Beaumeister is happy and well. Uncle Bill and he have their routines, you know. We are getting ready for the arrival of Kam and Peter. After we drop them off in Providence (for the bus to Logan) we'll head down to N.J. to be with Kris and Alan. Ciao for now, Love, Julie
