LETSITELE TO PRETORIA

Woke up to light rain – the pool was full, but a mess, dirt had been blown in and the surface was covered with flying ants……and some frogs had taken up residence. The kingfishers were having a feast on the ants! As for the girls, they went right in before the ants were skimmed off. We got them to dry off for photo ops and then it was time for goodbyes before our return to Pretoria.

Magoebaskloof (the area like Scotland) was shrouded in mist and the temperature dropped 10 degrees Celsius by the time we reached the top. It looked even more like Scotland. After a brief stop for lunch, we arrived in Pretoria and I spent the night with Stan and Pam. We had a wonderful meal alfresco in a local restaurant – I had my favorite African fish – Kingklip – and we laughed until 11 pm. – mainly family stories.
