PRETORIA, SOUTH AFRICA
Sorry for gap in posts. Days mostly spent travelling with a break in Melbourne where I had dinner with Gail and family. No internet here...am in a cafe with a terrible PC for one hour...may have access after Xmas at which time I will catch up...hopefully with some photos. Happy Holidays to everyone. No school today (Monday) as clearing this amount of snowfall has been daunting. Anyway, everyone will be here by Wednesday noon and the fun will begin. Santa Al is going to stop by to see Henry on Christmas morning - Fun! Thinking of you and sending Holiday Wishes! Love, Nan
Dearest Elaine, Beautiful brunch yesterday, Sunday, at Peter and Anne's Club. Really pretty setting on 18th hole. The food and service was fantastic. Anne and Peter had a cocktail party at their home last evening. I helped her get everything ready. We got to meet many of their nice friends. Today, Peter drove us to Wilmington, NC where we had a tasty luncheon in a river front restaurant (Cape Fear River). Then we did a tour of the battleship North Carolina. Tomorrow we're heading up to Raleigh for the day. The weather here is dry and a cool 50 degrees by noontime. Hope it stays dry for our trip to Jon's on Wednesday. Actually, we're staying overnight in Jacksonville and will arrive at Jon's mid-day on Christmas Eve day. Merry Christmas Elaine and Family! Yeh, Jonathan must have been happy to have that new Toro! Coran said she got about 16 " of snow as did Jim. Paul and Jane are stuck on Tancook Island...don't know when they'll get out of there. We so look forward to warm weather!!!
