The final leg. This is it. Final Trivia. Packing. Saying goodbye. We disembark tomorrow. Paul and Amy have rented a van and our plan is to go to the old Queen Mary in Long Beach for lunch in the original Verandah. Then we’ll take Olga back to the ship, where she continues until Sydney, changing to the Mary and then flying home from Singapore, and we’ll go on to LAX for dinner at the Proud Bird - where we ate when I was in LA with them in December 2009. Then Paul and Amy will drop me at my terminal, head for home, and it will all be over………until the next time!
It’s been a wonderful trip, made all the more wonderful by the company of three dear friends. Looking forward to cuddling with Bau and seeing all my dear family and friends at home.
