Slept in. Had coffee and croissant with John by the pool. So wonderful to be in warm weather! JK had left early to go and help her daughter prepare for the big crayfish boil in honor of her (Heather's) son Reid's graduation. This will take place on Safurday and we will all be there! After a lunch of red fish to start, followed by lump crabmeat maison, we went over to John's offices to see his assistant, Sandra where she and I caught up on our lives since last we met two years ago! Below is the sign for John's new offices....where he now only goes occasionally. Look carefully! A nice dip in the pool was refreshing after we returned. Went over to Leslee's for drinks...Cameron dropped by...and then we went to dinner at la Petite Grocery just around the corner from Leslee's. Terrific meal: apple and celeriac salad with blue cheese and pecans; shrimp and grits; chocolate torte with salted caramel sauce and prune ice cream. Le tout washed down with a nice Sancerre. A good day all around.
