Spent the morning with Jack and Ashley. Lunch again at Parc with Ashley. Then it was time to take the train onward to DC, where John and Ben met me. I was whisked off to Arlington to see a campy dystopian version of "Threepenny Opera" set in the time of the coronation of King William V (aka Wills). It was excellent, from the singing to the costumes and everything in between. Very clever updating of the lyrics. We had prosecco before the performance in the attractive bar area. After the show, it was home for breakfast at 11pm! Homemade buttermilk waffles and Korean pork belly slices. Delicious.
